Bredford Woman reportedly finds her lost ring in the trash
admin on November 16, 2011 in News Comments OffA woman from Bredford accidentally threw away her engagement diamond ring and because she did not wanted to give it up that easily she went directly to the local trash incinerator in order to look for it. The people working at the incinerator were very skeptical because trying to find diamond rings in the cities pile of trash was exactly like looking for the proverbial needle in the hay stack. However, she did not have to go though all the 10 tons of trash because the collector remembered that her neighbor threw away a chainsaw, so it was easy for him to find roughly the area which contained the trash bag in which the diamond rings was placed. The facility gets calls from tens of people every year which report lost jewelry, but in most cases they are calling two late. In 20 years of activity they have had only two successful cases of jewelry recovery, including this one.
